Ever wonder how to take care of your car interior? There’s nothing like opening your car door and being greeted by a clean, nice-smelling, inviting car interior. It’s easy to let things go as we’re all busy, however, it pays to keep up your car (inside and out). We’ll focus on getting the best ways to take care of your car’s interior.

Seats and Floor

It’s not only unpleasant to look at dirty seats and carpet, but also not good for the fabric or upholstery. Vacuum your car’s interior thoroughly, ensuring that grit and crumbs are removed from any seams and crevices. If there are stains, soap and water (without soaking the fabric) work just fine.

Hard Interior Surfaces

Most surfaces can be cleaned with a 70% alcohol solution or something similar. Use small brushes to get into hard-to-reach places. Use a soft cloth to clean other areas.

Interior Glass Surfaces

Alcohol-based cleaners are recommended for interior glass, as well. Grime can build up from outside pollution or smoking and vaping inside the vehicle. Use two cloths to clean – one for cleaning, and one for drying.

Clear Away the Clutter

If it’s trash – get rid of it. Empty food containers can attract the wrong attention from rodents and insects. If you have things lying around that you don’t make use of constantly, store them away someplace compartmentalized. You’ll appreciate the lack of clutter, and future cleaning will be easier.
