Future of Lexus Hybrid and Electric Cars 

The Lexus RX 400h in 2005 was the first luxury hybrid model on the market and set the bar high for the Lexus brand. With more than 2 million hybrid vehicles sold as of the end of 2020 and nine Lexus hybrid vehicles available in the lineup, the Lexus brand leads the way in the automotive world. Lexus has a vision for the future of its brand – Lexus Electrified – and with that vision in mind, Lexus plans to add 20 brand-new or updated models to its lineup by 2025 with more than 10 electric, plug-in hybrid electric and hybrid electric vehicles in that lineup.
