Unlike a standard used vehicle, every L/Certified Lexus has cleared a rigorous certification process before it reaches the lot. That process includes a 161-point inspection, verified vehicle history, warranty coverage, and complimentary maintenance, all included in the price.

    The 161-Point Inspection Process

    Every vehicle that carries the L/Certified badge has been inspected by Lexus-trained technicians using a 161-point checklist. A typical L/Certified inspection covers the powertrain, exterior condition, interior components, electronics, safety systems, and undercarriage. It also includes a road test, looking at ride quality, noise, air conditioning effectiveness and more.

    To qualify for Total View certification, a vehicle must meet specific age and mileage requirements.
