2021 Lexus IS vs 2020 Lexus IS: Engine Options 

When the 2021 Lexus IS arrives at Earnhardt Lexus, it will deliver world-class performance at every turn with a pair of engine options. The latest Lexus IS model will be available in rear- and all-wheel drive. Lexus IS models come standard with a 241-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission in rear-wheel drive models. To upgrade performance, the Lexus IS 350 will retain the 311-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6. All-wheel drive models will employ a six-speed automatic transmission. With a lightweight chassis and high-performance parts, the 2021 Lexus IS will take that level of performance to the next level.

2021 Lexus IS vs 2020 Lexus IS: Technology 

Next-generation 2021 Lexus IS models will amp up innovation with an impressive list of technology that its predecessor cannot match. Safety is a priority for families on the go and the 2021 Lexus IS will upgrade safety with Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 that features a Pre-Collision System with Frontal Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Pedestrian Detection, Bicyclist Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Lane Tracing Assist, Intelligent High Beams and Road Sign Assist. To keep families connected, the Lexus IS will feature a standard 8-inch Lexus Enform touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. Next-generation Lexus IS models provide the option of a 10.3-inch Lexus Enform touchscreen display that adds access to navigation.

2021 Lexus IS vs 2020 Lexus IS: Design 

To build its foundation, the 2021 Lexus IS employs a lightweight chassis and a retuned suspension that is 17% lighter than the previous model. Highlights of the 2021 Lexus IS design include a spindle grille, slim LED headlights, full-width LED taillights, updated side rocker panels and an aggressive stance. To enhance handling, the Lexus IS will add an F Sport Dynamic Handling Package with matte black 19-inch BBS® wheels, a Torsen® limited-slip differential, a carbon fiber rear spoiler and Sport S+ mode.
